Village Connect lets you chat with our nurses, get injection lessons via a live, video Web feed

In our last newsletter, we offered a reminder about our complimentary, in-person and phone consultations to help you better understand your fertility medications. This week, we are pleased tell you that we have added a new resource to help you communicate with our nursing staff.

Our fertility patients can now take advantage of Village Connect, a free, Web-based, video service that will allow you to chat with our nurses and view medications and injection instructions as they are described.

These virtual, one-on-one sessions are available to Village Fertility Pharmacy’s fertility patients via a toll-free number and a simple Internet connection, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET. The telephone line lets you speak with the nurse, while the online video feed provides a visual of how fertility medications should be stored, prepared and injected.

You can request a Village Connect consultation now by contacting the nursing team at nurse@villagepharmacy.com.

We're donating to the March of Dimes in honor of National Nurses Week

Next week, in honor of all of the fertility nurses with whom we work, we will donate $1,000 to the March of Dimes as part of National Nurses Week, which kicks off on May 6. Our staff will also be walking as a team in the March of Dimes' Boston event on Saturday, May 8.

If you would like to donate to this cause, support our team or join our team for the walk, please visit our team page to do so. The March of Dimes’ mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality, by providing a funding stream for research, community services, education and advocacy. We have chosen to give back to this charity because of our commitment to helping mothers give birth to healthy babies, and as a means to recognize the fertility nurses with whom we work.
