The American Fertility Association (AFA)
The AFA is a national non-profit organization serving the United States through its national office in New York City, and is a leader in providing men and women, health care professionals, public officials and the media, both nationally and internationally, with information about infertility treatments, reproductive and sexual health and family building options including adoption and third-party solutions.

The AFA LGBT Professional Network
The American Fertility Association (The AFA) believes that the road to parenthood isn’t always straight. As the nation’s leading patient advocacy organization, The AFA is dedicated to educating and supporting all men and women concerned with family building - including hopeful lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) parents. The AFA’s LGBT Professional Network is comprised of two main sections: one for patients seeking referrals, and one for professionals with inclusive businesses that serve the LGBT community and wish to advertise those services.

American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM)
ASRM is a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to the advancement of the art, science, and practice of reproductive medicine. The Society accomplishes its mission through the pursuit of excellence in education and research and through advocacy on behalf of patients, physicians, and affiliated health care providers. The Society is committed to facilitating and sponsoring educational activities for the lay public and continuing medical education activities for professionals who are engaged in the practice of and research in reproductive medicine.

Society for Assisted Reproductive Medicine (SART)
SART is the primary organization of professionals dedicated to the practice of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) in the United States. ART includes the practice of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). The mission of SART is to set and help maintain the standards for ART in an effort to better serve members and patients. One of the most important functions of this website is to help patients locate and contact infertility clinics and view national and individual clinic IVF success rates.

Society for Male Reproduction and Urology

The InterNational Council on Infertility Information Dissemination, Inc. (INCIID)
The InterNational Council on Infertility Information Dissemination (INCIID – pronounced "inside") is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals and couples explore their family-building options. INCIID provides current information and immediate support regarding the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infertility and pregnancy loss, and offers guidance to those considering adoption or childfree lifestyles.

Makena® is a prescription hormone medicine (progestin) used to lower the risk of preterm birth in women who are pregnant with one baby and who have delivered one baby too early (preterm) in the past. Makena was shown to work based on a lower number of women who delivered babies at less than 37 weeks of pregnancy. There are no studies showing Makena reduces the number of babies who have serious problems shortly after birth or who die. It is not known whether Makena is safe and effective in women who have other risk factors for preterm birth.
