Village donates to Haiti relief with every gonadotropin prescription dispensed

Jan. 22, 2010

The staff at Village Fertility Pharmacy is deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Haiti. In an effort to provide some relief to those who have been affected and support the generous men and women who are currently providing aid to the people of Haiti, we plan to make a significant contribution to Doctors Without Borders.

From now until the end of February, Village Fertility Pharmacy will donate 10 cents for every gonadotropin (75 IU equivalency) we dispense. Because gonadotropins are one of the most commonly prescribed fertility medications and each fertility patient requires a number of these medications within a cycle, we are confident that this endeavor will result in a considerable donation.

Doctors Without Borders is an international, medical, humanitarian organization that was founded by doctors and journalists in 1971. The group’s members are working to provide emergency medical care to earthquake survivors in and around Port-au-Prince. With your help, Village Fertility Pharmacy will make a contribution to this cause and help these volunteers continue their vital work in the months to come.
