Office Nurse CoordinatorRSC New England is seeking an Office Nurse Coordinator to join our clinic in Providence, RI. This is a very rewarding and exciting position in a fast paced, ever changing field. Training at our state-of-the art facility in Lexington, MA and continued education through conferences will be provided to offer you a great depth of knowledge in this exciting sub-specialty field.
As an RSC nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of passionate clinicians focused on the treatment of infertility. Teamwork, along with placing our patients first, is of our highest priority!
General Duties include: - Patient initial visit and counseling. - IVF procedure teaching and scheduling of treatment. - Cycling visits including: medication instruction (schedule, dosage and administration), anticipatory guidance, clarification of physician instructions. - Phone triage: accepts/makes phone calls regarding patient medication, treatment plans, and other general fertility questions. - Comforts patients by anticipating anxieties and answering questions as permitted. - Maintains patient charting, testing, and flow sheets.
An ideal candidate will have women's health experience/knowledge in infertility treatment (preferred), valid Rhode Island Nurse license, excellent time management and organizational skills. This position requires independent judgment as well as the ability to work closely with a team of nurses and physicians. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and physicians; quick learner; capable of multi-tasking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment; computer and telephone skills required.
