Village Fertility Pharmacy sponsors “Ladies’ Night Out” with award-winning author on July 30

Kristen Magnacca to share personal struggles, insights on maintaining a strong marriage while coping with infertility

WALTHAM, MA - Village Fertility Pharmacy (www.villagefertilitypharmacy.com), a specialty pharmacy focused exclusively on medications for infertility treatments, will host a "Ladies' Night Out" with award-winning infertility book author Kristen Magnacca on Thursday, July 30.

The event will be held at Village Fertility Pharmacy's headquarters in Waltham, Mass., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and is free and open to all women. Attendees will enjoy refreshments, listen to Magnacca speak about her "Honey Do List" strategy for keeping a marriage strong in the face of infertility and have their books signed by the author.

"Infertility is a crisis of the mind, body and soul," said Magnacca, who struggled with infertility for several years before giving birth to her son, Cole, and later her daughter, Grace. "There are many emotions involved in coping with infertility and my goal as a writer, speaker and consultant is to share advice and strategies about how to maintain open, supportive communication throughout that difficult and very painful journey."

Magnacca was honored last month with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association's national, inaugural Hope Award for her latest book, "Love and Infertility: Strategies for Survival - Balancing Infertility, Marriage, and Life." The Sandwich, Mass., author's first book, "Girlfriend to Girlfriend: A Fertility Companion," provides an honest and intimate first-person account of the emotional and physical tolls of infertility.

"We are tremendously excited to have Kristen join us for the evening to share her experiences and insight with other women who have been affected by infertility," said Linda Romano, RN, BS, director of Clinical Nursing Services at Village Fertility Pharmacy. "She's a true inspiration to all hopeful mothers; her books have helped more women than she will ever know."

The event will be held at Village Fertility Pharmacy's headquarters at 335 Bear Hill Road in Waltham, Mass.
