Anticipate your medication refill needs this holiday seasonNov. 27, 2009
We always encourage our fertility patients to plan ahead and anticipate their medication needs, but this is even more important when the holiday season arrives. To help you avoid emergency situations in the coming months, we’d like to share a few tips and tools, and remind you of our holiday hours.
To ensure that your medication is ready to be picked up when you need it, please contact our pharmacy 48 hours in advance. Our pharmacy is closed on most major national holidays and will close earlier than normal on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Holiday hours
If you have questions about our pharmacy’s hours around the holidays, please refer to the below dates and times:
How do I know when a refill is needed?
It can be tricky to determine when your medications will run out. To help you anticipate your needs, we have created the Medication Supply Calculator. This tool is designed to help you avoid emergencies by indicating when your next refill will be needed.
In order to evaluate your medication supply, you must enter the following information into the online form:
If you have any trouble with the Medication Supply Calculator, or you have additional questions, please call our Patient Care Center at (877) 334-1610. This number is also effective if you need to reach our on-call staff in emergency situations during non-business hours.
Making refills easy
When you need more medication and you have an available refill, you can fill it two different ways. You can refill your medication the traditional way by calling our Patient Care Center during our normal business hours at (877) 334-1610. Again, we recommend that you call 48 hours in advance to avoid emergency situations.
You can also visit our Web site at www.villagefertilitypharmacy.com to refill your prescription online. Select the “Refills” page under the “Patients” tab and click on the “Refill form” within the body of the text. You can also find this document on our “Downloadable forms” page. |
